Stress and anxiety have become part of modern life – driven by the pace of work, financial pressures, and the growing number of demands competing for our attention.

More people are now juggling work with unpaid caring roles or taking on second jobs just to stay afloat. Parenting can feel relentless. And the digital world – with its constant notifications, doomscrolling, and AI-fuelled overload – makes it harder than ever to switch off. No wonder so many of us feel like we’re running on empty.

In this session, we’ll take a clear, human approach to understanding what stress and anxiety are, how they show up, and what you can do to manage them. While we’re not clinical practitioners, we’ll share practical strategies you can use day to day – including how to spot early signs, look after your wellbeing, and find the right support.

It’s an open, supportive session designed to help you take back control – and feel more equipped to cope.
