Periods are a natural part of life for half the workforce, yet menstrual health remains surrounded by stigma, shame, and silence.

This webinar explores how menstrual health impacts physical, mental, and financial wellbeing and highlights why it’s a critical workplace issue. We’ll discuss ‘menstrual concealment’ – a term coined by Professor Kate Seear – which highlights a troubling paradox: women are often seen as lying about menstrual health issues to avoid work, yet in reality, they’re hiding their challenges or struggling just to remain there.

We’ll also look at practical steps workplaces can take to foster a culture of openness, support, and inclusion – improving wellbeing for everyone.

Webinar overview:

  • How menstrual health affects physical wellbeing and day-to-day life
  • The financial and social impact of menstruating and why it matters
